Cal West is looking for a project scheduling coordinator
Hourly Rate $27.00 to $35.00 an hour
- Prior experience in property management a plus
- Real estate license/optional
Our busy residential property management firm is looking for a full-time project scheduling coordinator.
Job responsibilities include:
Create, assign, and keep track of work orders for various projects including move out tenant/owner expenses, renovations and general repairs.
Communicate with clients and receive approvals and funds for owner related work
Work on deadlines for the purpose of compliance with rules for returning security deposits. Follow up with vendors to help ensure all deadlines are met.
Work with Code enforcement to conduct city inspections with multi-unit buildings. Coordinate maintenance for this work and ensure that compliance is met.
Perform role in the property close out process. Verify the status of any open work orders/Cancel recurring work orders and communicate with vendors informing them of the last day of service. Pull keys and submit to accounting.
Notify tenants of annual recurring work orders such as gutter cleanings. Ensure the list is current. Remove old closed out properties from the list to maintain integrity.
Coordinate with backflow specialists to ensure compliance with backflow devices
Coordinate with insurance companies to handle emergency based repairs. Work with claims adjusters and ensure workflow completion
Manage material samples from vendors
Enter new vendors and ensure they have completed the vendor packet
Perform annual assessments as needed
Act as on-call emergency operator on a rotation basis
Employees may have the option to perform some of their work remotely.
